Spread a Little Valentine’s Love
The Rotary Club of Port Moody wanted to Spread a Little Love on Valentines day
We solicite help from the community by going on Facebook to ask if anyone wants to make Valentine’s cards for the residents of Eagle Ridge Manor. St James’ Well offered to have a collection box for the cards to give a central location for the public to deposit their creations.
We have the schools help with this project and it is wonderful to see what the children write on the Valentines for the seniors.
The outcome is always amazing! We have had over 200 Valentine’s cards made and we deliver them to the Manor. The residents were thrilled that people cared about them. This once again proves what an amazing community we live in. Thank you to everyone who participates.
Beneficiary
Eagle Ridge Manor is a 65 bed long term care home providing complex long term care services. Eagle Ridge Manor is a Fraser Health operated site. Their team provides integrated care in a home-like environment that supports and enhances the residents’ abilities and choices.
Eagle Ridge Manor has 75 publicly subsidized long term care beds. There are 39 single occupancy rooms and 18 double occupancy rooms.

The people of Port Moody who designed cards
