Service projects are at the heart of Rotary. Our club values of friendship and care have always inspired these projects and fueled our work. Our relationships connect us to each other and to the communities we serve, at home and internationally.
A small example of this is in the club’s long-standing relationship and history of service projects in South Africa. One of this club’s first forays into international friendship was a Group Study Exchange with a cohort of young professionals from South Africa, who came to learn and share knowledge and inspiration with their professional counterparts in Canada. Since then, innumerable fellowship and volunteer trips have strengthened the bonds between our club and Rotarians in that country, and led to many impactful international projects.
